Update, Nov 2/09: The same bear came around again, this time it walked all the way up to our side door within hands reach. Then our dogs barked and scared it off as usual. Seems like it doesn't know where to go. xD

Hi everyone! Just sharing a bit of randomness that happened earlier today. x)

There's this young bear that was hanging out right in my backyard, lying comfortably in blackberry vines. That would hurt for us but apparently it's fine for a bear! xD



It was hungry so it ventured over to our apple tree to get a snack... and while doing so it came close to uprooting the whole thing, its paws and claws can be so strong! The tree was slanting far to the side afterwards! >0<



Keep in mind I took these from inside my house, so it wouldn't get scared. But somehow it got scared anyway and ran incredibly fast up a tree. It pretty much went to the very top to rest on the bigger branches and stayed there for about 4 hours. I had to go outside to see it because it was that high up. xDD



It's not often you get to see a wild bear, that close especially. I have 4 dogs which shoo them away constantly so normally they don't come around whatsoever. x3

As a few of you know already, I've started taking $100 flat-fee portrait commissions separate from dA, more so in my local area, just to see if I'd get any interest and to make some monies on the side.

Well this one guy did contact me, asking if I could make a book cover for him. He has a certain idea in mind and gave me a detailed description of what he's looking for. Since I'm used to drawing portraits from photo reference, this project is a good challenge for me because I don't have anything to go by except for the written details.

So far I've done a rough sketch and sent it to him - I was quite happy that he loved it. ^^

Anyway, just a little news from my end, it's my first commission ever (for a novel no less) and I'm very excited~

Once I'm done with it and I get his permission, I might post it here.

Hullo everyone! I always take so long to update, geez...

I’ll take this opportunity to thank you all who are still watching my art despite me not drawing any Bleach-related things for a while now. Some may be annoyed, some may be fine with it, but I think a little break would do me some good. I’ve had an art block for the longest time and I’m slowly beginning to inch my way out of it... just need to concentrate on other things for a bit, you know?

Anyway, thanks again to the people interested in my art/photos/random stuff nonetheless. Means a whole lot.

With high school over and less things to worry about, I can focus more on art again. ^^
